Program Manager Air Traffic Navigation Services
Depending on the needs of the recipients I adapt the content and/or lard the presentation with excursions to ATC, Aviation, Human factors in general, training concepts, etc. Frank Klap (1967) is an impassioned and inspiring speaker who intersperses his interactive presentations with practical examples, personal experiences and surprising metaphors. In this way he knows how to draw you into his story in a fascinating way and make you think. After a start in seafaring, Frank worked for ten years in the Royal Air Force as a military air traffic controller, instructor and Head of Training at the Air Traffic Control Center. During this time, he completed four college courses. After joining Air Traffic Control the Netherlands (LVNL), he was active in various management positions in Training, ATC Simulation, Competence Development and Maintenance and Human Factors. As program manager Human Factors, he was responsible for the delivery of the first Dutch multinational air traffic control team. In his now thirty-year career he also developed and facilitated many Human Factor courses, Team Resource management workshops and team development sessions for operational staff in various industries. In addition to his position at LVNL, Frank has for many years acted as a speaker, freelance consultant and trainer and is active as a writer, painter and illustrator. All this has not only taken him to many places in Europe and Africa but has also given him extensive expertise and experience in management, safety management, organizational development, education and training, team development and human performance. It is clearly visible in his presentations that Frank likes to share this knowledge and experience with you. After all, his motto is not for nothing: Knowledge is like love. The more you share it, the more you get back from it.
