Speaker: Alessandro Baseggio

 
Alessandro Baseggio received his degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Padua with a thesis on induction heating in collaboration with the Leibniz Universität in Hannover, Germany. Soon after, he began working with a number of industrial manufacturing companies, where he was daily in contact operational duties.
In 2018, Alessandro obtained a second degree in Civil and Industrial Safety Engineering with a thesis on the integration of Toyota’s Lean manufacturing system and safety management systems. It was a first dive into the world of Safety Differently, before he had even heard about it. The thesis was awarded by AiFOS (Italian Association of Safety Trainers and Operators) and published at International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Operations Management in Dubai.
He worked as a Safety Officer and safety trainer within manufacturing companies, focusing on a practical, achievable approach, paying attention to the real context where risks really are and going beyond pure legal obligations.
In 2023 he started working as a Freelancer in Industrial Safety and, at last, he met Safety Differently concepts.
After an ongoing study with the creators, he aims to become a Safety Differently ambassador in Italy.
